EMPLOYMENT AT THE ICE CHALET
The Ice Chalet is always looking for bright, energetic, and friendly people to help with our public skating sessions, classes, and other events. Please apply in person and request an application, then make an appointment to talk with the owner, Larry LaBorde.
Teachers are usually skaters who have passed the equivalent of Freestyle 4 or higher, with strong interpersonal skills and an engaging personality.
Teachers are required to apprentice before being assigned to a class. Private lesson teachers are expected to teach group lessons as well.

High Freestyle Teacher -- Experienced skater with national or international skating credentials and extensive show skating experience, capable of teaching high-level freestyle skills, such as double jumps, intricate footwork, choreography, and high calibre spins, as well as basic skills, from tots to adults. Previous teaching experience preferred. Superior presentation skills and "team player" attitude required. ISI membership required.
