Dan Baird is a Knoxville native who claimed North Carolina as home for ten years. He is married with twin teen-aged sons. Dan is an Ice Chalet veteran dating back to the 1970s when he was introduced to skating as a student in the UT class. He took lessons from Robert Unger, passing tests in Freestyle, Dance, and Couples.
Dan’s real passion is teaching basic lessons. His teaching philosophy is “a strong foundation of the basic fundamentals is essential in skating as well as in life.”
